విశ్వకర్మ పుట్టిన రోజును ఈరోజు పెద్దపెద్ద కంపెనీలలోను పరిస్రమలలోను జరుపుకుంటారు.
అసలు విశ్వకర్మ అంటే ఎవరో తెలుసా? మన భూమిని తయారుచేసింది విశ్వకర్మ. అతను దేవతల శిల్పి, బ్రహ్మ ఆదేశించటం తో అతను భూమిని విశ్వాన్ని తయారు చేసారు.విశ్వకర్మ హిందూ పురాణాల ప్రకారం ఎన్నో పట్టణాలను నాలుగు యుగాలలో నిర్మించాడు.సత్యయుగంలో దేవతల నివాసం కోసం స్వర్గలోకం నిర్మించాడు.త్రేతాయుగంలో సువర్ణ లంకను శివుని కోసం నిర్మించాడు.ద్వాపర యుగంలో ద్వారక నగరాన్ని మరియు కలియుగంలో హస్తినాపురం మరియు ఇంద్రప్రస్థం నిర్మించాడు.

Happy Positive Thinking Day!!
We truly do believe that if we each make a commitment to be consistently positive today, we can make a difference in this world. While it is important to be positive every day, this day marks a specific time for each of us to put extra effort into being positive. This extra positive energy will help make the world a better place.
Positivity is contagious... really! So, as you make the commitment today to be positive and to hold positive thoughts you will influence those around you. That's how we change the world... we start with ourselves! When you are focused on the positive then there will be a ripple effect that spreads out from you. You can make a difference! Yes, I am talking to you - each one of you. So... come on, let's set out today to change the world... one thought at a time!
Use these 10 simple techniques.
1. Use affirmations - Read and listen to affirmations so that you can begin to change your self-talk.
2. Intention - Set your intention each morning to have a positive day! Remember you choose your attitude!
3. Mindfulness - Keep your attention in the present moment.
4. Link to think -Pick something you do frequently (perhaps making a phone call) and let that be a reminder to think a positive thought.
5. Gratitude - Develop an attitude of gratitude by keeping a gratitude journal.
6. Inspiration - Read and watch inspirational and motivational material to lift your mood.
7. Positive people - Surround yourself with positive people. They will help you stay focused on the positive.
8. Kindness - Be kind to yourself and those around you.
9. Applied faith - Trust that every situation has the seeds for growth and opportunity.
10. Smile - Smile when you see others. Smile when you are talking on the phone. A smile is contagious.
భారతీయవాన్మయములో నారదుడు లేని కధే లేదు. ఆ మహానుభావుడు చేసినా అది లోకకళ్యానానికే దారితీస్తుంది. వామనావతారంలోని విష్ణువు పాదము ఆకాశానికి తాకినప్పుడు ఆ విష్ణువు పాదాన్ని కడగటానికి బ్రహ్మ తన మానస పుత్రునిని నీళ్ళు పోయమన్నాడు బ్రహ్మ. అలాగే నారదుడు నీరు పోసాడు. అందుకే ఆయనను నారదుడు అంటారు. బ్రహ్మ తేజస్సుతో, నలిననాభుని, లక్ష్మి దేవిని కూడా శపించగల శక్తి తనకు తానె సంపాదిచుకున్నాడు. దక్షుని శాపంతో కలహాల మునిగా మారాడు. ఆ కలహాలు కూడా దుష్ట శిక్షణకు, అహంకారము అణచువేయటానికి, అసూయ పోగొట్టటానికి, లోకాలకు మంచిని పంచటానికి ఉపయోగపడేవి. ఎల్లప్పుడూ నారాయణ స్మరణం తో భక్తి భావానికి ప్రతీకగా నిలబడి భగవంతుని మన హృదయంలో బందిచుటకు కావలసిన భక్తి సూత్రాలను ప్రవచించిన పరమ భక్త శిఖామణి, మహర్షి నారదుడు. అహంకారంపడి, ఆడజన్మను పొంది, చారుమతి అయ్యి విష్ణు మాయను తెలుసుకున్న తరించిన పుణ్యమూర్తి, ఆ మహనీయుని జీవితం, పరోపకారానికి, లోక కల్యాణానికి ఉపయోగించారు. సాధనతో ముందు అడుగు వేయవచ్చు అని తన సంగీతం నేర్చుకోవటం తో నిరూపించారు (విద్య స్పర్ధతో పెరుగుతుందని నిరూపించారు). నారదుని జీవితం మనకు ఆదర్శము.

Save Energy Game.
Flip a Cardboard piece shaped like a coin marked 1 on one side and 2 on the other.
Flip and move to the places the cardboard coin indicates. If you reach a place where there is a "saved "energy message" you will get a chance to move up extra places.
If you reach a place which indicate "waste of energy"you will be demoted.
You can make a bigger game with your own pictures and own messages.
This is only a Do-it-yourself game idea.

+Social forestry for fuel food and wood -6
+ Tube light -less electricity -3
- Deforestation destroying energy sources -10
-Misuse of energy -4 -8.
